Essential oil stains in acrylic bath.

Many thanks

I found that bon ami cleaning powder and rubbing alcohol with a lot of scrubbing worked okay for me, but did leave some minor abrasions on the acrylic. I had long drips down the side of the shower, so I used a sharpie pen covered in a cloth to provide pointed pressure and scrubbing as I applied the powder and alcohol repeatedly.

I tried everything to no avail. on brand new pedestal acrylic tub. However, the suggestion to use ceramic stove top cleaner seemed to work the best along with with a scraper that is used on glass top or ceramic stove tops (fine razor). Took 90% of it off Will try again later p.s I will NEVER use essential oils in the tub ever again

Same problem on my brand new fancy pedestal tub! Ceramic stove top cleaner and a non scratch pad!

“Gumption” and a lot of elbow grease worked for me.

I’d love an answer too….I have the same problem. Vinegar, baking soda, lemon juice, methylated spirits…nothing works!

Why hasn’t this question been answered? I’m in the same predicament and need help. Is it possible to remove? If not, can it be repaired by acrylic tub specialist – like I know can be done with scratches?
